Set out surveys, also known as site set out or building set out surveys, involve marking the exact positions of planned structures on the ground before construction begins. These surveys provide reference points and guide builders on where to excavate, lay foundations, and erect structures.
We provide accurate on-site positioning of buildings, driveways, drainage or other requested setouts according to the Architectural and/or Engineering Plans and specifications provided. A height datum will also be placed on site for the builder to ensure that the building is built to the correct height.
Certification of the setout is then provided and used as a step in Council sign-off.
