As-built surveys are detailed plans created after a construction project is completed to document the final layout and positioning of structures, utilities, and other features as they were actually built.
For instance, when public drains are laid as part of a development, Council requires a survey to be carried out to locate the final position of these services. An as-built plan then has to be drawn to their specific requirements and certified our Licensed Cadastral Surveyor. The plan is then submitted to Council and/or WaterCare to be added to their database as new assets.
